Turkish president says visit to US concluded with productive meetings, contacts

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday said he had concluded his visit to the US, held on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly, with “productive programs, contacts, and meetings.”

“We have successfully completed our visit to the United States, organized on the occasion of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, with very productive programs, contacts, and meetings, and have returned to our country,” Erdogan said on Turkish social media platform NSosyal.

The president added that Türkiye will continue to be “the voice of conscience around the world.”
