Turkish public broadcaster TRT to take place at Sarajevo Film Festival

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish public broadcaster, TRT, will take an important place during the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival.

The festival, in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is set for Aug. 12 - 20 and includes six films co-produced by TRT.

Festivities will open with Swedish Ruben Ostlund’s the Palme d'Or award-winning film "Triangle of Sadness."

TRT co-production "Klondike" and TRT award-winning "A Ballad" will also be featured in the main competition selection.

The projects "Gunyuzu" and "Hesitation Wound" will participate in "Cinelink," the industry section of the festival.

The Turkish-Ukrainian co-production film, which won the TRT International Co-Production Award and made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, won the "Best Director Award" at the festival.

"Together, Alone" directed by Kasim Ordek and produced by Hayet Benkara, will make its world premiere in the short film competition at the festival.

Sarajevo Film Festival will bring together the most important names in the film industry, especially in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Important meetings will be held at the "TRT Industry Terrace," which will be established this year as part of the festival.

TRT Balkan digital news platform, which started broadcasting last June, will also be represented at the TRT Industry Terrace.
