Turkish Stars' Teknofest aerobatic show filmed by Bayraktar Akinci drone

KONYA, Türkiye (AA) - A Bayraktar Akinci combat drone, made by the Turkish defense firm Baykar, was used to film the aerobatic flight show of the Turkish Air Force's Turkish Stars team at the Teknofest tech fair that was held this year in Azerbaijan.

Known as Türkiye's symbol in the sky, the Turkish Stars team of pilots put on breathtaking show over the capital Baku last week, once again leaving visitors astounded as they weaved through the air just meters apart.

The spectacle was captured from the air by the Akinci, with the footage showing the Turkish Stars' flight formation, aerobatic moves, and solo movements in the skies above Baku.

Teknofest was held on May 26-29 in Baku.

The event's 2022 edition in Türkiye will be held in the country's Black Sea province of Samsun on Aug. 30-Sept. 4.
