Turkish stock exchange begins midweek up
BIST 100 index gains around 23.4 points at Wednesday's open

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,103.74 points, up 0.23% or 23.40 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 rose 1.33% to 10,080.35 points, with a daily transaction volume of 132.3 billion Turkish liras ($3.3 billion).
As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.8160 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 47.0380 to the euro, and 54.8090 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,330.85, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.80 per barrel.
