Turkish stock exchange begins Tuesday up
BIST 100 index gains around 33 points at Tuesday's open

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,886.52 points, up 0.3%, or 33.03 points, from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 soared 0.99% to 10,853.49 points, with a daily transaction volume of 115.5 billion Turkish liras ($2.84 billion).
As of 10 am local time (0700GMT) Tuesday, exchange rates stood at 40.6830 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 47.0340 to the euro, and 54.0820 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,366.50, while Brent crude oil was trading at $68.40 per barrel.
