Turkish stock exchange down at weekly open
BIST 100 loses around 28 points on Monday

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock opened at 10,894.74 points on Monday, decreasing 0.26% or 28.13 points.
On Friday, the BIST 100 was down 0.52% and closed at 10,922.86 points, with a daily transaction volume of 117 billion liras ($2.76 billion).
As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 42.4485 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.9325 to the euro, and 55.6380 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,054.10, while Brent crude oil traded at $62 per barrel.
