Turkish stock exchange flat at weekly open
BIST 100 index mildly loses 6.63 points on Monday

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 9,012.94 points, slightly down by 0.07% or 6.63 points from the previous close.
On Friday, the BIST 100 fell by 1.65% to 9,019.57 points, with a daily transaction volume of 86.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.19 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.2370 liras to the US dollar, 44.7875 to the euro, and 53.1445 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,341.40, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.20 per barrel.
