Turkish stock exchange opens Thursday in green
Benchmark BIST 100 index gains 58.92 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 11,029.29 points, up 0.54% or 58.92 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 gained 0.52% to 10,970.37 points, with a daily transaction volume of 159.4 billion Turkish liras ($3.78 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 42.1120 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.5540 to the euro, and 55.0960 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,986.75, while Brent crude oil was trading at $63.55 per barrel.
