Turkish stock exchange up at Friday open
Benchmark BIST 100 index rises 93.42 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 9,195.44 points, up 1.03% or 93.42 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 fell 1.02% to close at 9,102.02 points, with a daily transaction volume of 85 billion Turkish liras ($2.15 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.6790 liras to the US dollar, 45.7395 to the euro, and 53.5070 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,344.90, while Brent crude oil was trading at $75.50 per barrel.
