Turkish stocks close Tuesday on high note

ANKARA (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended Tuesday at 2,007.14 points, up 0.48% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,998.55 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 9.56 points from Monday's close of 1,997.58 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,815.00 by market close, down from $1,816.65 at the previous close.

Price of Brent crude oil was around $90.80 per barrel as of 6.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT).
