Turkish stocks flat at Monday close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul close Monday with losses, down 0.14% to 2,172.48 points.

Starting the day at 2,180.21 points, BIST 100 index decreased 3.03 points from Friday's close of 2,175.51 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,945.00 by market close, down from $1,955.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

Price of Brent crude oil fell to $109.54 per barrel as of 6.11 p.m. local time (1511GMT) on Monday, down 6.7% from the previous close.
