Turkish stocks up at Friday's open
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rises 0.39% from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 1,631.43 points on Friday, up by 0.39%, or 6.4 points, from the previous close.
At Thursday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 0.06% to an all-time highest closing level of 1,575.67 points, with a daily trading volume of 33.6 billion Turkish liras ($3.38 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 9.9600 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) from 9.9230 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also climbed to 11.4000 from 11.3790, while one British pound traded for 13.3200 Turkish liras, down from 13.3350.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $82.20 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
