Turkish stocks up at Thursday's open
BIST 100 index adds over 3 points at opening session compared to previous close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 1,710.05 points on Thursday, increasing by 0.18% or 3.01 points from the previous close.
At midweek's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index hit an all-time high of 1,707.04 points with a rise of 1.27% and a 27.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.6 billion) daily trading volume.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate reached 10.6600 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), up from 10.5760 on Wednesday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 12.0900, rising from 11.9630, while one British pound traded for 14.3600 Turkish liras, versus 14.3040 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil was sold for around $79.86 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
