Turkish, UK defense chiefs discuss security cooperation
'UK, Türkiye are NATO allies, working together to support European, global stability,' says UK Defense Ministry

LONDON (AA) - Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler on Thursday met with British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace and discussed defense and security cooperation.
"The UK and Türkiye are #NATO allies, working together to support European and global stability," UK Defense Ministry said on Twitter.
The meeting was held at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels on the margins of the two-day gathering of NATO defense ministers that focuses on stepping up support for Ukraine and strengthening deterrence and defense.
The defense ministers will also prepare for the NATO leaders’ summit to be held in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius on July 11-12.
