Türkiye sees current account deficit of $5.4B in April
Goods deficit at $7B, while services see net surplus of $2.9B in April

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's current account balance posted a deficit of $5.4 billion in April, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) said on Monday.
Gold and energy excluded current account saw a net deficit of $480 million in the month, the bank added.
The country's goods deficit recorded $7 billion while services recorded a net surplus of $2.9 billion.
Under services, travel item saw a net inflow of $2.2 billion in April.
"Primary income and secondary income recorded a net outflow of USD 1,292 million and USD 11 million, respectively," it added.
Direct investment posted net inflow of $784 million in the month.
