Türkiye-Syria Business Forum held to strengthen communication between Turkish, Syrian companies

New Syrian administration trying to reestablish relations with international community

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Türkiye-Syria Business Forum, related to the construction and building materials sector, was held Friday in Aleppo in northern Syria, according to Syrian state television Al-Ihbariya.

Delegations of businesspeople from both countries participated in the forum that was organized by Türkiye's Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSIAD).

The forum aimed to strengthen communication between Turkish and Syrian companies through meetings and sessions, and to discuss investment opportunities and cooperation in reconstruction projects.

It took place within the scope of cooperation agreements covering various sectors between the Syrian and Turkish governments.

The new Syrian administration is trying to reestablish relations with the international community.

Another Türkiye-Syria Business Forum was held in Istanbul earlier in December.
