Türkiye to post $1.87B current account deficit in October: Survey
Economists expect industrial production to decrease 0.3% in October

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye is likely to post a current account deficit of $1.87 billion in October, an Anadolu Agency survey projected on Friday.
Estimates from a group of 15 economists ranged between $1.1 billion and $3.4 billion.
The figure was at $2.96 billion in September.
The Turkish Central Bank will release its official balance of payments data on Monday.
The current account deficit is likely to be around $48.9 billion at the end of the year, with the economists’ estimates ranging between $45 billion and $52.2 billion.
- Industrial production
Another Anadolu Agency survey expected Türkiye’s industrial production to decrease 0.3% in October, following a 0.4% annual rise in September.
Estimates from a group of eight economists ranged between minus 1.9% and 0.75%.
The country's statistical authority will release its industrial production data on Tuesday.
