Türkiye's BIST 100 flat at weekly close

Lowest value of index at 14,109.21, while daily high at 14,320.87

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended the week on Friday at 14,180.69 points, posting no daily change.

After starting the day at 14,158.97 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned zero points from Thursday's close.

The lowest value of the index was 14,109.21, while the daily high was 14,320.87.

The market value of the BIST 100 was around 14 trillion Turkish liras ($321.7 billion), with a trading volume of 223 billion liras ($5.1 billion).

A total of 63 stocks on the index rose and 35 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $5,008.60 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $67.2 per barrel as of 6.45 pm local time (1545GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 43.7395, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 51.8830, and the British pound traded for 59.6050 liras.
