Türkiye's BIST 100 index ends Thursday flat

Benchmark index down 3.92 points at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 11,336.18 points, down slightly by 0.03%.

Starting the day at 11,378.44 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 3.92 points from Wednesday's close.

The lowest value of the index was 11,336.18, while the daily high 11,426.65.

The market value of BIST 100 was around 10.6 trillion Turkish liras ($249.7 billion), with a trading volume of 62 billion liras ($1.45 billion).

Some 45 stocks on the index rose and 49 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $4,480.30 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $61.80 per barrel as of 6.50 pm local time (1650GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 42.8460, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 50.5760, and the British pound traded for 58.0060 liras.
