Türkiye's BIST 100 index opens Friday on negative side
Benchmark index loses 28.20 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at 10,796.36 points, down 0.26%, or 28.20 points, from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 dropped 1.15% to close at 10,824.55 points, with a daily transaction volume of 108.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.65 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 40.8795 liras to the US dollar, 47.7525 to the euro, and 55.4550 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,343.30, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.25 per barrel.
