Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul closes Tuesday with new record

ANKARA (AA) – Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul ended Tuesday with a new record-high close of 2,326.29 points, up 0.64%

Starting the day at 2,321.61 points, BIST 100 index gained 14.89 points from Monday's close of 2,311.40 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,929.20 by market close, down from $1,928.75 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil fell to $107.12 per barrel as of 6.12 p.m. local time (1512GMT), down nearly 0.38% from the previous close.
