Türkiye's Borsa Istanbul up at Monday's close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 3,582.03 points, up 0.4% from the previous close.

Starting the week at 3,586.68 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 14.43 points from the previous close.

The index's lowest value during the day was 3,564.80 points, while its daily high was 3,601.87.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 2.85 trillion Turkish liras ($153.7 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 57 billion Turkish liras ($3.05 billion).

During the day, 58 stocks on the index rose and 42 fell from the previous close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $1,672.9, while Brent crude oil was around $97.56 per barrel as of 6.21 p.m. local time (1521GMT).
