Türkiye’s defense chief receives Pakistani naval chief in Ankara

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye’s Defense Minister Yasar Güler on Friday received Pakistan’s Naval Chief Adm. Naveed Ashraf in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Turkish Naval Forces Adm. Ercument Tatlioglu also attended the meeting, according to a statement from Türkiye’s Defense Ministry.

The two sides discussed “matters of mutual interest, strengthening defense ties, particularly in maritime security and operational collaboration,” according to a statement posted on X by Pakistan’s Embassy in Türkiye.
