UAE launches 1 Billion Followers Summit to shape content creator economy

Global event gathers over 15,000 creators and 420 experts under 'Content for Good' theme

CAIRO (AA) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) launched the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit on Saturday, an event that will run until Monday, Jan. 13.

According to the official news agency WAM, the summit is organized by the UAE Government Media Office and is taking place at Dubai’s Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre and the Museum of the Future, under the theme “Content for Good.”

The 1 Billion Followers Summit is the largest and first of its kind globally “dedicated to shaping the content creator economy.”

This year’s summit brings together more than 15,000 content creators and 420 influential speakers and experts from around the world. Over 300 specialized sessions will be held, featuring global social media companies and platforms.

The summit has seen a high turnout of influencers, content creators, and followers from various nationalities and age groups.
