GAZA CITY, Palestine / ISTANBUL (AA) – At least 35 Palestinians, including a pregnant woman and a child, were killed in fresh Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, medics said.
According to medical sources, one Palestinian was killed and several others were injured by Israeli fire in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City.
Two more people lost their lives to Israeli army fire in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the same city.
The Israeli army also shelled the Palestine Stadium area in central Gaza City, leaving three people dead.
Witnesses reported heavy Israeli bombardment and airstrikes in the Shati refugee camp and Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City since early morning.
A Palestinian woman and her six sons were also killed, and many others were injured in an Israeli strike on their home in western Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
The Israeli army struck another house in the Nuseirat refugee camp, injuring several civilians.
Another house for a Palestinian family was hit by Israeli artillery in the Bureij refugee camp. No information was yet available about casualties.
In central Gaza, at least 18 civilians were killed and 33 others injured by Israeli gunfire while seeking aid at a distribution point near the Netzarim Corridor.
In southern Gaza, one Palestinian, his pregnant wife, and his child were killed when the Israeli army shelled a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
One more civilian was killed in an Israeli attack in southern Gaza.
The Israeli army has killed nearly 66,100 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases.
