GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - The Israeli military bombed tents housing displaced people and a residential apartment in Gaza City, killing six Palestinians and wounding several others, medics told Anadolu.
In the first strike, a drone attack on a tent sheltering displaced people west of Gaza City killed one Palestinian and injured another.
A second strike hit an apartment near Al-Saraya junction in central Gaza City, killing two people, including an elderly woman.
In a third attack, an airstrike on a tent inside Yarmouk Stadium, which shelters thousands of displaced families, killed three Palestinians and injured seven others.
Israeli forces have conducted raids across multiple areas in the Gaza Strip in recent hours, resulting in deaths and injuries to the civilian population.
The Israeli army renewed a deadly assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.
At least 51,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
