UPDATE - Turkish stock market closes Thursday down
BIST 100 falls almost 63 points from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul was down 2.57%, or 62.96 points, on Thursday to close at 2,390.98 points.
Ending the day with a market value of around 2 trillion Turkish liras ($197 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 45.5 billion Turkish liras ($3 billion).
Shares of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines, glass maker Sise, and steel producer Kardemir posted the highest trading volumes.
During the fourth transaction day of the week, 12 stocks on the index rose and 86 fell compared to the previous close.
Real estate investment company IS GMYO was the best performer of the day with its shares up by 4.32%, while electric distributor Esenboga Electrik suffered the most, losing 6.51%.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,840.30 by market close, down from $1,855.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was up 0.30% to nearly $108.1 per barrel as of 6.12 p.m. local time (1512GMT).
