UPDATE - Turkish stocks post gains at Tuesday close
BIST 100 rises nearly 14 point from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul close Tuesday with gains, rising 0.63% to reach 2,188.81 points.
Starting the day at 2,150.96 points, BIST 100 index gained 13.78 points from Monday's close of 2,175.03 points.
During Tuesday's trading, the BIST 100 hovered between 2,146.32 points and 2,188.81 points – 85 stocks on the index rose, 11 fell, and four were flat compared to the previous close.
Closing the day with a market value of around 1.8 trillion Turkish liras ($120 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 33.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.2 billion).
Shares of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines and two iron/steel producers Eregli and Kardemir posted the highest trading volumes on Wednesday.
Shares of agricultural insecticide producer Hektas performed the best with its shares up 9.96%, while shares of investment company Borusan Yatirim ve Pazarlama dropped the most, 3.17%.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,933.35 by market close, up from $1,927.05 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil fell to $115.40 per barrel as of 6.05 p.m. local time (1505GMT) on Tuesday, down nearly 0.29% from the previous close.
