ANKARA (AA) - A Russian missile attack on a train station in eastern Ukraine killed at least 25 people, local media reported on Thursday.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President, said that the attack targeted the Chaplyne railway station in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to Ukraine’s state news agency Ukrinform.
Two children were among those who lost their lives while 31 others were also wounded in the attack, the agency added.
On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced at a meeting of the UN Security Council via video link that Russian troops launched a missile attack on the Chaplyne railway station.
