UPDATES WITH INFORMATION ON MORE NUCLEAR FACILITIES

ISTANBUL (AA) – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Friday confirmed that no increase in radiation levels has been observed at Iran’s Natanz nuclear site following Israel’s strikes targeting the facility.
In addition, the IAEA said the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was not hit by Israel.
“Iranian authorities have informed the IAEA that the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant has not been targeted and that no increase in radiation levels has been observed at the Natanz site,” Rafael Grossi, chief of the UN nuclear watchdog, said in a post on X.
Grossi also said that after contacts with Iranian authorities, they can confirm that neither the Isfahan nuclear site nor the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant were impacted.
He also said the IAEA “is in contact with Iranian authorities regarding radiation levels.”
“We are also in contact with our inspectors in the country,” Grossi added.
