ISTANBUL (AA) — A US Army soldier from Texas has been charged with selling confidential phone records, including material allegedly stolen from President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to local media.

Cameron John Wagenius stationed at Fort Cavazos in Killeen, Texas, was indicted by a Seattle grand jury on two felony counts earlier this month, the New York Post reported.

He is accused of unlawfully transferring confidential phone records on an online forum and a communication platform.

An online handle associated with Wagenius has allegedly been linked to several high-profile cybercrimes, which are not detailed in the indictment.

Using the alias “Kiberphant0m,” the 20-year-old reportedly claimed to have hacked over a dozen telecommunications firms.

In November, he posted unverified AT&T call logs supposedly linked to the two 2024 presidential candidates and offered the data for sale, according to The Verge.
