US trade gap narrows 16% to $60.2B in June

ISTANBUL (AA) - The US' foreign export deficit in June was at $60.2 billion, below market expectations of around $62 billion.
According to a statement from the Bureau of Economic Analysis on Tuesday, the country's foreign trade gap narrowed 16% from $71.7 billion in May.
The country's exports totaled $277.3 billion in June, down 0.5%, while imports amounted to $337.5 billion, down 3.7%.
The goods deficit narrowed $11.4 billion in June to $85.9 billion while the services surplus grew $0.1 billion in June to $25.7 billion.
