US funding to Hungary's left-wing NGOs can be fully exposed soon: Premier

ATHENS (AA) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said that US funding to Hungary’s left-wing NGOs could soon be fully exposed.

In an interview with the public broadcaster Kossuth Radio, Orban, as reported by the Mandier news outlet, listed Brussels and the foundations of billionaire George Soros as primary sources of funding for Hungarian NGOs.

Orban argued that this was part of a global agenda aimed at undermining communities, supporting illegal migration, and promoting what he referred to as "gender madness".

"What happened was that the liberal global elite used the US budget and the US government to get Americans to finance their goals, their financial and ideological goals, all over the world. Of course, this was presented as aid, but in reality, it was a tool for political influence," Orban said.
