US-led coalition strikes regime forces: Syria

WASHINGTON (AA) - The U.S.-led coalition combatting Daesh terrorists in Syria hit a regime post on Sunday and wounded two soldiers.
Colonel Sean Ryan told the U.S. media that the coalition forces were fired by a regime post stationed in the western bank of the Euphrates River.
The coalition forces responded to the attack within the framework of "self-defense", he said, revealing no further details.
On the other hand, an army officer from the army of the Bashar al-Assad regime said that two officers were wounded and a canon was destroyed in the aftermath.
