ERBIL, Iraq (AA) – At least 241 people were killed and 277 others injured in July in ongoing violence across war-torn Iraq, according to a monthly report released by the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).
The report, which was released Tuesday, said last month’s fatalities included 239 civilians.
According to the report, Nineveh province came first with 121 people killed and 112 others injured, followed by Baghdad with 38 dead and 85 injured.
