Yemen's Houthis report more US raids in northern, central Yemen
US carried out more than 1,200 aerial, naval strikes on Yemen since mid-March, Houthi-run Foreign Ministry says

The Yemeni Houthi group reported more American raids Friday on areas in northern and central Yemen.
Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV reported "US aggression with four raids that targeted the area of Takhyah in the Majz district" in northwest Saada province.
The broadcaster also reported a US airstrike on the Bani Matar district in Sanaa province in central Yemen.
It, however, did not report any casualties or property damage from the strikes.
The Houthi-run Foreign Ministry said earlier that the US has carried out more than 1,200 aerial and naval strikes on Yemen since mid-March, resulting in hundreds of deaths and wounded.
US President Donald Trump said last month that he ordered “decisive and powerful military action” against the Houthi group and later threatened to “completely annihilate them.”
The Houthis have targeted ships passing through the Red and Arabian seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden since November 2023 in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where more than 51,400 victims have been killed in a brutal Israeli assault.
The group halted attacks when a ceasefire in Gaza was declared in January between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, but resumed them after Israel renewed airstrikes on the enclave last month.
