COVID-19: Poland to build first field hospital
500-bed temporary hospital to be set up at national stadium in capital Warsaw

ANKARA (AA) - Poland has decided to set up its first field hospital to treat COVID-19 patients at the national stadium in the capital Warsaw, according to local media on Monday.
According to the Polish Press Agency, the construction will begin soon of a temporary 500-bed field hospital, with the number of beds to be increased later.
On Sunday, Poland reported 8,536 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 175,766.
The death toll in the country reached 3,573, according to the latest figures from the US ’Johns Hopkins University.
