Israel reports 7 more virus deaths, over 1,800 cases

JERUSALEM (AA) – Israel reported seven more fatalities and 1,888 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday.

Health officials said the number of cases has reached 105,252, including 856 deaths and 83,028 recoveries, since the virus was first detected on Feb. 21.

Across the world, COVID-19 has claimed over 813,500 lives in at least 188 countries and regions since last December.

More than 23.67 million cases have been reported worldwide, with recoveries exceeding 15.35 million, according to figures compiled by the US' Johns Hopkins University.
