BIST 100 up at Friday’s open
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index opens Friday increasing 0.24%

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye’s benchmark stock index was up by 0.24% to 9,162.41 points at the opening session on Friday.
The index has earned 2.07% to 9,140.70 points at Thursday’s close with a daily transaction volume of 140 billion liras ($4.31 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 32.1520 as of 10.00 am (0700GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 34.8710, and the GBP/TRY traded at 40.6030.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,169.70, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $85.60.
