Economists expect no change in Türkiye's interest rate
Turkish Central Bank projected to keep policy rate constant at 9%, Anadolu Agency survey suggests

ISTANBUL (AA) – The Turkish Central Bank is expected to keep its interest rate constant this week, an Anadolu Agency survey found on Monday.
On Thursday, the bank will hold its first Monetary Policy Committee meeting this year to announce its decision about interest rates.
All of the 15 economists surveyed by the agency forecast no change in the interest rate.
The bank kept the policy rate constant in its last meeting in December 2022 at 9%.
