Italy's FTSE MIB performs worst, plummets 0.56%

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Monday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 0.34 point, or 0.07%, to finish at 464.64.

The UK's FTSE 100 increased almost 10 points, or 0.12%, to end the session at 8,014.

Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, fell 4 points, or 0.03%, to close at 15,477. France's CAC 40, meanwhile, fell 12 points, or 0.16%, to close at 7,335.

Italy's FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 154 points, or 0.56%, to 27,597.

Spain's IBEX 35 decreased 51 points, or 0.55%, to end the day at 9,281.
