European stock exchanges close mixed

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Monday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 0.08 point, or 0.02%, to finish at 464.18.

The UK's FTSE 100 lost 17 points, or 0.22%, to end the session at 7,929.

Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, rose 75 points, or 0.48%, to close at 15,653. France's CAC 40, meanwhile, added 25 points, or 0.34%, to finish the day at 7,373.

Italy's FTSE MIB increased 124 points, or 0.45%, to 27,949.

Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, adding 46 points, or 0.49%, to close at 9,511.
