European stock markets close Monday mixed

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Monday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 0.12 points, or 0.03%, to finish flat at 457.72.

Germany's DAX 30 declined 47 points, or 0.31%, to close at 15,580. Spain's IBEX 35 fell 75 points, or 0.81%, to end the day at 9,157.

The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, increased 41 points, or 0.54%, to close the session at 7,673.

France's CAC 40, meanwhile, rose 23 points, or 0.32%, to finish at almost 7,346.

Italy's FTSE MIB increased 65 points, or 0.24%, to 27,179.
