European stock markets close Tuesday in green

ANKARA (AA) - European stock markets closed in the positive territory on Tuesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up by 5.8 points, or 1.38%, to finish the day at 423.4.

The UK’s FTSE 100 increased 73 points, or 1%, to close at 7,296, while Germany’s DAX 30 added 348.6 points, or 2.69%, to reach 13,308.

France’s CAC gained 109.3 points, or 1.79%, to close at 6,201.

Italy’s FTSE MIB jumped 527 points, or 2.49%, to end the day at 21,696.

Spain’s IBEX 35 went up by 162 points, or 2.03%, to finish at 8,125.
