European stock markets close Tuesday mixed

Italy's FTSE MIB performs best, soaring 263 points, or 1%

ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 1.19 points, or 0.26%, to finish at 453.21.

The UK's FTSE 100 declined 13 points, or 0.17%, to end the session at 7,771.

Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, increased 2 points, or 0.01%, to 15,128.

France's CAC 40, meanwhile, gained less than one point, or 0.01%, to close at 7,082.

Italy's FTSE MIB became the best performer of the day by soaring 263 points, or 1%, to 26,599.

Spain's IBEX 35 decreased 15 points, or 0.17%, to end the day at 9,034.
