European stock markets open higher on Thursday
STOXX Europe 600 index up 0.57% to 401.2 points

ANKARA (AA) – European stocks opened higher on Thursday as concerns over volatility persist around the globe due to monetary policies.
The STOXX Europe 600 index was up 0.57% to 401.2 points, while Germany’s DAX 40 index increased 0.67% to 12,602 points.
The UK’s FTSE 100 index rose 0.19% to 7,066 points, and France’s CAC 40 index climbed 0.42% to 6,011 points.
Spain’s IBEX 35 index was up 0.19% to 7,595 points, while Italy’s MIB 30 index rose 0.1% to 21,483 points.
The euro/dollar parity stood at 0.9900.
Oil prices were mixed over supply uncertainties after OPEC+ producers announced a plan to cut daily production by 2 million barrels starting November.
International benchmark Brent crude was at $93.22 per barrel at 10.01 a.m. local time (0701GMT), a 0.16% drop from its closing price of $93.37 in the previous trading session.
American benchmark West Texas Intermediate was trading at $87.52 per barrel, a decrease of 0.27% after the previous session closed at $87.76 a barrel.
