European stocks close higher to partially gain previous losses

Italy's FTSE MIB performs best, soaring 0.67%

ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock exchanges closed Tuesday higher to partially gain previous day's losses.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 1.75 points, or 0.38%, to finish at 461.68.

The UK's FTSE 100 added 28.11 points, or 0.37%, to end the session at 7,628. Germany's DAX 30 climbed 28 points, or 0.18%, to 15,992.

France's CAC 40, meanwhile, increased eight points, or 0.11%, to close at 7,209.

Italy's FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day, soaring 179 points, or 0.67%, to 27,036.

Spain's IBEX 35 rose 21 points, or 0.23%, to end the session at 9,310.
