European stocks close lower except for UK exchange

ISTANBUL (AA) – European stocks closed with losses on Thursday, except for the UK exchange.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 0.7 points, or 0.15%, at 467.43.

Germany’s DAX 30 lost 99 points, or 0.62%, to finish the fourth trading day of the week at 15,795.

France’s CAC 40 fell 10 points, or 0.14%, to 7,538, Italy’s FTSE MIB plummeted 306 points, or 1.1%, to 27,627 at the closing bell.

Spain’s IBEX 35 decreased 43 points, or 0.46%, to finish at 9,450.

The UK’s FTSE 100, on the other hand, added three points, or 0.05%, to close at 7,902.
