European stocks exchanges close Thursday mixed

Italy's FTSE MIB performs worst, plummeting 0.61%

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Thursday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell just 0.02 points, to end the session flat at 463.62.

The UK's FTSE 100 decreased 10 points, or 0.14%, to finish at 7,730.

Germany's DAX 30, meanwhile, shed 61 points, or 0.39%, to 15,834.

Italy's FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 165 points, or 0.61%, to 27,098.

France's CAC 40, on the other hand, rose 20 points, or 0.28%, to finish the session at 7,381.

Spain's IBEX 35 increased 15 points, or 0.16%, to close the day at 9,182.
