European stocks finish lower

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks finished lower Tuesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, fell 2.81 points, 0.6%, to end the session at 466.10.

The UK's FTSE 100 decreased eight points, or 0.1%, to finish at 7,762. Germany's DAX 30 declined 71 points, or 0.44%, to 16,152.

France's CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, trimming 99 points, or 1.33%, to end at 7,378.

Italy's FTSE MIB shed 135 points, or 0.5%, to close at 27,174.

Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, lost 38 points, or 0.41%, to end the day at 9,267.
